A litter-free community increases property values, helps reduce crime, and attracts tourists and business.

Clean Streets represents an effort with both residents and local businesses to create a cleaner, healthier and safer Cal Heights.

We began this program in August 2009 and invite any interested volunteers to join us! Bags and plastic gloves will
be supplied.

Clean ups are every Thursday morning at 8:30 am and usually last until 10 am. We pick up on the more busy Cal Heights perimeter streets; Atlantic, Wardlow and Cherry.

Every Thursday we meet at north east corner of Atlantic and Wardlow (in front of the EZ Lube).

The schedule is:

1st Thursday of the month pick up Atlantic from Wardlow to Bixby

2nd Thursday of the month pick up Atlantic from Wardlow to the 405 freeway

3rd Thursday of the month pick up Wardlow from Atlantic to Orange

4th Thursday of the month pick up Wardlow from Atlantic to the 405 freeway

5th Thursday of the month (when applicable) to be announced. Check here for details.

Here’s your chance to see this Tony Award-winner for Best Play close up and intimate! In this savagely caustic comedy, a playground altercation between boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the evening progresses and the rum flows, it quickly deteriorates into a finger-pointing, fur-flying hilarious brawl, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. Low-Price Previews Jan 24-26 Dinner Package: Dinner for 2 at L’Opera or The Sky Room & tix to the show for $139!

Date: February 2, 2012 – February 4, 2012

The Long Beach Coin & Collectibles Expo is one of the world’s largest shows of its kind. An international event bringing together more than 10,000 dealers & collectors three times a year at the beautiful Long Beach Convention Center. Three full days of doing business, networking, press conferences, public auctions, educational seminars and lectures, makes this show one of the largest and certainly busiest shows you’ve ever seen! A leader in the coin and collectibles trade show industry, the Long Beach Expo has become a tri-annual tradition since its founding in 1964. This show provides a venue for dealers, Mints, and numismatic and philatelic organizations to gather, do business, market new products, display rare material exhibits, hold forums and buy material.

The Expo spans 100,000 square feet in the beautiful Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in downtown Long Beach, California. This show receives outstanding attendance from over 2,000 dealers and 10,000-12,000 public attendees each show.
